Declan Brady
With 25+  years working in the corporate sector, Declan has worked in both the UK and Australia. He has held senior managerial and directorial positions in several blue chip organisations, including a multi-national investment bank based in London. He knows first hand the stresses and strains that senior company executives face and the challenges you face on a daily basis. This gives Declan a critical advantage in assisting his corporate clients undergoing change, as he has direct experience of working in the corporate sector at senior levels.

Declan coaches and mentors executives and senior leaders to grow and develop their own personal skills and mindset. Through increasing your own mental complexity you are better able to coach and mentor those you lead.

Declan also offers his many years of mindfulness and meditation practice to assist you in learning more effective ways to cope with the stresses and strains of corporate life.

But what am I really like?
I am very interested in supporting others in their development, hence the intensive 4 years of training in Gestalt psychotherapy requiring many hundreds of hours of personal and group therapy. I am passionate about making a positive contribution to the world and I hope to leave a better world for my two children. I am also passionate about meditation in all its forms, have been practicing mindfulness and meditation for over 20 years and have written on the application of mindfulness in a therapeutic setting. People say I am very good at creating enduring relationships.

As a result of his atypical professional background and training, Mike is uniquely positioned to marry the systemic and the individual, with an interest in developing targeted programmes that effectively match the strategic needs of an organisation with the developmental aspirations of its talent.  Passionate about the subject, Mike is constantly exploring leading edge practice, and holds a particular interest in developing metrics of success that are meaningful and relevant to both individuals and organisations.

But who am I really?
Solving problems.
Learning.
People.
Oh, and I’m curious about pretty much everything.

I think these are key elements that define who I am and have been, both professionally and personally.  Although I ended up in technology, while good at it, I’ve always had an abiding passion for all things psychological which always found expression in my work, no matter what the role.  That I enjoy consultancy is a consequence of its unending diversity, be it constantly introducing me to new people, new industries or sometimes even new countries.

I’m not all geek though, with interests in the arts that have led me to producing theatre in London’s West End, and a passion for film that some might consider obsessive.  Add some good food and wine, I’m yours.
